Paul Maddox & Johnny Dangerous
Paul's production career took off in 2001 with his hard house remix
of N-Trance's anthem 'Set You Free' which, as well as catching the
attention of N-Trance's record label 'All Around The World' and Tidy
Trax, reached number 4 in the national charts as part of a remix
package.
After over a year of non-stop work in the studio, Paul's production
skills have improved no end, leading to collaborations with the likes
of Anne Savage, Lisa Lashes and Lee Haslam on their releases, as
well as engineering the vast majority of Paul Glazby's tracks and
remixes.
His own productions cover the whole spectrum of hard dance, from
the vocal hard trance of "Reach Out" to the hard techy vibe of 'Tension',
with more experimental productions under the new OGR moniker. One
of his biggest productions so far is Azure's 'Sunset' which was a
Judge Jules 'Tried & Tested' tune of the week.
His biggest honours to date are remixing Tomcraft's 'Brainwash'
for Ministry Of Sound's Data imprint and Ferry Corsten's 'Rock Your
Body Rock' for Positiva.
As a DJ, Paul's style is similarly varied. Playing driving techy
hard house as a preference, but equally at home playing a tough,
funky warm-up or a hard as nails last set.
So far this year Paul has held down a Tidy London residency as well
as playing guest slots at Sundissential, Convergence, Frisky, Eyecon,
Full Tilt and Cream's Digital Love event.
Alongside Paul is another Tidy Trax Dj, Johnny Dangerous who is
steadily carving his own unique path through the hard house scene
and is fast becoming one of the new stars on the scene!
Johnny has entertained the masses with his tough slashing style
at some of the biggest clubs both home & abroad including Sundissential,
Storm, Freedom & Turnmills.
He has collaborated with some of the biggest players in the hard
dance scene including 12" Thumpers & the Brainbashers and remixed
the classic "Signum - Coming on strong" under his Vinyl mafia guise.
You can catch these two major players at Tall Trees on the 27 th
December alongside the residents.
